I have been busy trying to update my printed portfolio today and I realized that there are some new works that I haven't even recorded (photographed or scanned.)
So I took this pastel painting I did of an early morning sky recently and scanned it. This pastel was made on Wallis paper, which I discovered I really like. It has a very nice tooth which holds the pastel dust in place.
It was a real challenge trying to capture the fast-moving clouds and ever-changing colors!
Whaddya think?
