I had been working on a pet portrait commission and now that it is finished, I can share it with you.
My previous portraits had been in acrylic on canvas. This one is watercolor on hot pressed 140 lb watercolor paper. I haven't packed away forever my acrylic brushes; I'm just taking a break for a bit in order to play on paper! I am thoroughly enjoying my current watercolor adventures.
Now that this is done, I am available to take on my next project. Do you have a favorite pet of your or of a friend or loved one? Portraits make unique gifts!
