Susan Stefanski-Solo Show at Villanova: 4/26 - 6/8/13

Friday night I attended two art receptions. The first was a solo show of paintings by Susan Stefanski, a Havertown painter whose work I absolutely love.

She has a wonderful way of taking snippets of our world and funneling them through her artful eyes and heart, then exploding them back onto her canvas with color combinations and soft-edged strokes that can leave one breathless.

Her many works in the show depict cattle in landscape, Jersey shore marshes with gulls, interesting tree groupings, and always refreshing floral compositions.

She is one of the artists I know who inspires me to improve my own art. I highly recommend a visit if you make it! The exhibition is up till June 8th, 2013.

Location; 2nd floor Art Gallery in the Connelly Center in the Villanova University Campus.
