Shamrocks Will be Painted This & Next week

Are you part Irish?

Pictured here is an acrylic painting of a pot of shamrocks. It is an adaptation of a Painting Workshop Lesson Plan originally from Grumbacher. Stated as a floral lesson plan, I changed it a little to make it work using the colors for Still life lesson plan.
After all, a pot of something growing could certainly fit into either of the two categories, don't you think?
Floral uses the four core colors plus additional colors:
    - Hookers Green
    - Alizarin Crimson and
    - Cadmium Yellow Light;
Still Life employs these two additional colors:
    - Burnt Sienna and
    - Raw Umber.

With St Patty's Day coming up fast (MARCH 17), I wanted to plan something fun for that holiday.
The next two Wednesdays have a Still life theme at the two Michaels stores where I offer painting workshops
