A Little Taste of the Show

"Max"

Here's a little piece of my latest pastel.

I used a photo of my dog Max as a model.

I also played around with Madeleine Kelly's underpainting technique which I learned this past Friday. She and I will both be participating in the upcoming DVAL show. (See post below for more about that.)

I hope to get this piece matted and framed tomorrow so I can include it in the exhibit.
